Frequently asked questions

Can you arrange the appointment directly with a tenant?

Yes. We can liaise directly with tenants, site contacts, agents or keyholders to arrange a suitable appointment, provided you give us the correct contact details and permission to contact them.

Can you collect keys from our office?

Key collection may be possible depending on the location and appointment arrangements. Please provide the details when requesting your quotation so this can be agreed in advance.

Does the landlord or property owner need to attend?

No. Assessments can be completed without the landlord or property owner present, provided the assessor has safe access to the entire property and all relevant heating, hot water and energy systems.

What if part of the property cannot be accessed?

Please let us know before the appointment. We may be able to work around the inaccessible area, but another visit could be required if we cannot collect the information needed to complete the assessment accurately.

What happens if the tenant does not provide full access?

The assessor needs access to all relevant rooms, systems and areas. If access is restricted, we may be unable to complete the assessment and another visit could be required.
